New Home Sweet smogged Home
WEll, i thought since we haven't updated in a while that i should put a blurp on here. We moved to taylorsville, utah on rachael's b-day so she could student teach. She student teaches 6th graders and loves it (even though they are tall as her and mouthy she says). We live 5 blocks from the school. After a week of job searching i got one. I buy cars are a wrecking/recycling place and i help them with OSHA/EPA regulation adherence. I like it, though i'm still on the search for the perfect job.
Rach loves it here. There may be a position for a 6th grade teacher next year and she wants it (and they offered it too). I, on the other hand, hate it here to be honest. Can't see the mountains through all the smog, schools can't even send kids out for recess because it's so bad and I drive 10 miles to work bumper to bumper 4 lanes wide. I don't like traffic. There is a 400 pound man that lives above us in our apartment complex the floor just creeks and his alarm goes off at 4:30 am and he hits snooze till 6 am we have started to beat the ceiling, but by 6 am the traffic on I-215 is so loud we both are wide awake.
Positive side, we are closer to rach's family (which shes visiting them this weekend) and we have spent time with my mom. Also there is alot of stuff to do here that we are excited for to do. We are getting her through school, that the most important thing here! And MOST IMPORTANT Neither of us work for the Wal-marts anymore and never again!!!

Loved the post Zane! We missed you this weekend. It was fun to see Rach though. I'm sorry about the 400lb man that lives above you. Apartments are hard sometimes! :( Hope you're surviving w/out Rach. Have a good day! :)
ha ha love the wal mart comment! we miss you guys and sunday dinner just won't be the same...hopefully adds gets over missing rach (oh, and you too zane ha ha) but it will give us a great excuse to come and visit! (but maybe not stay with you...ha ha...since that neighbor upstairs sounds great! ha ha)
Sounds like you're feeling right at home. LOL You have the same problem as me, I hate living here too, but you gotta do what you gotta do right! Hope all is well and that we'll be able to get together for a game night soon.
