Utes goes wild..

Mom, Mike, Rachael, and I went to the Utes vs UNLV game. Here's some pics to enjoy...
This is their mascot on stilts trying hard to get the crowd goin..didn't work!

Here's a sneak attack of us.

This is priceless...THis is my little basketball fan ....can ya tell!!

Okay she was bored to death, except for the last 2 minutes. The utes went on to win. THough they played very sloppy. UNLV beat BYU but how they played last night, i don't see how they could have. (we're really byu fans)

They have a cool gym though!

Valentines with the students...what to expect!!

Well a few days before Valentines Day, i had a few girls in the class come up to me and ask what i would do if this boy in the class asked me to be his valentine. I told then i would pat him on the head and say thats nice.
Well he must have chickened out that day, but he did give me and the classroom teacher a fake rose. This is the rose.

Yep thats the one. THe rose was inside of a plastic tube. After taking the fake rose out of the tube, there were ruffles in the middle. I pulled the ruffle out of the rose and the teacher and i about died from laugher! A red skimpy thong! Poor boy probably had no idea! We took them down to the office and the secretary had all the teachers come down and enjoy the laugh!
If his mom only know what she got her 6th grades sons teachers!

Saturday...breakfast at the Smiths.

Zane's a pickie eater! He refuses to eat cereal on Saturday morning since we have it all other mornings. Most saturdays he cooks breakfast, this saturday he said breakfast was ready..this was the image that i had when i got to the table...One egg on my plate and EVERYTHING else on his.

He shared kindly with me though! It was so good! Thanks honey!!

Gettin out!!

I get tired of sitting home so we got out this weekend.
The Sattair Palace. I saw pictures of it in the 60 and 70's, impressive then, not too much now.

We weren't sure where to go to skeet shoot so we drove 30 miles out of town a little past Tooele. This is our land mark picture. It was on the railroads bridge, we were tresspassing for sure.

I'm proud of my sharp shooter! She loves the gun that dad gave us. It's a 4-10, doesn't kick as much as a 12 gauge shot gun.

After we went to the park and had a bbq. It was warm until the breeze picked up. It's got a walking/bike trail at the park which is located right onthe Jordan River.

That night we went to Prove to the BYU - Utah game. I was cheering for utah at the start, but they weren't doing so good so i decided to switch to BYU, then utah started to come back. But i think i'm going to be a byu fan this year. No pictures of it - let the camera in the car in the rush of gettin to the game! Also went to Alta Ski Resort on Friday (i did while rach was teaching) Thanks to Aunt Caleen I went during the free skiing time. It was beautiful up there! No smog!!
